Find the sponsorship that overdelivers
Sponsorship is priced on the obvious asset, so look for the one that smuggles your branding somewhere far larger: a fast food chain sponsored a small fourth tier football club specifically so its logo would appear on that club's shirt inside a game played by millions. At a conference, one company skipped the speaking slot and put its money into an entertaining promo video, which is what an attendee singled out from the whole day. What you buy and what you get are two different questions.
The method
- 01
Buy the cheapest sponsorship that gets your branding inside a product millions of people already use daily.
- 02
An entertaining promo video can buy a sponsor more attention at an event than a slot on the stage does.
What it returned
- 20
Burger King sponsored Stevenage F.C. so its logo would appear on the club's shirt inside FIFA 20
SnackNation was a HYPERGROWTH sponsor rather than a speaker, and its video was one of the things Haines singled out from the whole day.
