3 builders who never spoke to each other
Do not break the integrators once they exist
After other people build on you, an interface change stops being a matter of taste and becomes a churn event, since some will simply never upgrade. Move the project into its own organisation so the ecosystem has somewhere to attach, watch the adoption path inside accounts before retiring any surface, curate what third parties publish, and track deprecations upstream that could remove you from the workflow entirely.
The method
- 01
Once a developer product has many integrators, changing the interface is a churn problem rather than a taste problem: make people rewrite their code on every release and some will simply stop upgrading.
- 02
Move a project that has outgrown you off your personal account into its own organisation, so the plugins and integrations forming around it have somewhere to attach.
- 03
Watch the adoption path inside accounts before killing a surface. Podscan customers typically start manual as the first person in their agency, then invite a team, then automate onto the API, so both interfaces matter.
- 04
Watch for platform deprecations upstream of your integration, because a change three layers away can remove your product from the customer's workflow. The Flash end of life pushed FeedbackPanda's customers into an Electron app where browser extensions could not be installed.
- 05
If your platform accepts third-party extensions, curate and sign them: an unvetted marketplace is a liability that will stop enterprise buyers approving you.
What it returned
- 2009
The SDK is embedded in thousands of apps and the codebase passed a million lines, with some shipping code dating to 2009
- 2017
Adobe announced Flash end of life in 2017 for end of 2020, Chrome disabled the plugin by default in July 2019, and the schools shipped an Electron app that broke FeedbackPanda's browser extension integration
- 1,024
BetterClaw tested 1,024 ClawHub skills and found 824 of them malicious, with prompt injection and malicious skills the documented failure modes.
Announced at one month, with an ecosystem of tools and integrations already appearing around the project

No roundup of links, no news. Three tactics more than one builder arrived at separately, with the numbers each one returned and the disagreements left in.
