Add one expensive offer instead of chasing volume

Small sales take nearly the same effort as large ones and move the monthly total by very little, so a single high ticket offer can outrun months of grinding out cheap transactions. Work out the price that makes a handful of sales a month enough, then design something that justifies it, often direct access to you rather than another product. Check first that you can deliver the obligations in the hours you have.

The method

  1. 01

Add one high-ticket offer instead of chasing more low-price sales, so a couple of transactions a month moves revenue meaningfully.

  2. 02

Sell direct access to yourself, not a course or a product: a calendar link and unlimited one-to-one calls, with no DMs or written feedback in scope.

  3. 03

Before adding a premium tier, check you can actually deliver its obligations with the time you have, or budget for someone else to; the ideal upper tier earns much more for less work than the volume tier.

  4. 04

Work backwards from your income target: at 80% margins and only five sales a month you need a price in the thousands per unit.

What it returned

  • $7,500

Small sales took heavy effort for little movement; the high-ticket version brought $7,500 in three days.

  • $2,500

Modelled on his friend Daniel's unlimited consulting at a one-off $2,500; his own version was unlimited video calls for ten years.

  • $10,000

$10,000 a month at 80% margins on five monthly sales implies a $2,500 unit price.
