a single source, nothing corroborates it
Work the answer thread after you post it
An answer left untouched loses to whichever one has a handful of upvotes, so ask colleagues for support and never touch the competing answers. Test three, measure for a few days, then reuse them as templates, and budget on a clickthrough in the low single to low double digits with no ranking benefit at all.
The method
- 01
Ask teammates and friends to upvote your answers, which the platform tolerates within reason, but never downvote competing answers or use bots or paid task workers.
- 02
Squeeze more traffic out of a thread you already rank in by proposing a merge with a similar question, asking existing customers to add their own answer to high-traffic questions, and creating an answer wiki listing the solutions so your link sits above every answer.
- 03
Test with three answers, measure for a few days, and only then scale by reusing those answers as templates for related questions so effort per answer keeps falling.
- 04
Do not run this for search rankings - the outbound links carry no ranking value - and budget on a clickthrough rate in the low single to low double digits from views.
What it returned
- 100
Across 100+ of his posted answers and over 100,000 views, clickthrough to the linked site ran 2-10%, meaning roughly 20-100 visitors per 1,000 answer views; the links are nofollow.

No roundup of links, no news. Three tactics more than one builder arrived at separately, with the numbers each one returned and the disagreements left in.
