3 builders who never spoke to each other
Give affiliates the words, not just the link
Most affiliates stall because they cannot describe your product, not because the rate is wrong. Send them to a page you control explaining the programme and how to sell the thing rather than a bare signup link, hand over ready made copy for posts, emails and podcasts, and keep feeding them proof of payouts and anything new worth mentioning. Attaching a credit for the new customer turns their message from an ask into a gift.
The method
- 01
Never hand an affiliate the bare signup link. Send them to a page you control that explains the programme and how to sell the product.
- 02
Hand affiliates a pack of ready-made copy for social posts, podcasts, emails and personal recommendations, since most of them stall because they do not know how to describe your product.
- 03
Keep affiliates alive after signup by sending them proof of what the programme pays, whatever shipped that is worth promoting, and specific content they can copy.
- 04
Attach a credit for the new customer to every referral link, so the advocate is passing on something rather than asking for a favour.
What it returned
- $45,000
The template pack has driven more than $45,000 of affiliate sales and over $15,000 paid out to students.
Described as a tenfold improvement to the whole programme from that one change.
Anyone arriving through a partner link gets ten dollars taken off their opening bill, which Fathom notes is its only ever reduction since it runs no sales, coupons or discounts.

Three plays a week, for the phase you are in
No roundup of links, no news. Three tactics more than one builder arrived at separately, with the numbers each one returned and the disagreements left in.
