3 builders who never spoke to each other
Publish the substance in the feed and stop linking out
Write posts that deliver the whole idea inside the platform so a reader gets the value without clicking, and treat the click as an optional extra rather than the point. Networks strip context out of links and cut the reach of posts that carry them, so the working ratio is several posts that ask nothing for each one that sends people away.
The method
- 01
Stop putting links in tweets. X strips the headline and context out, so the link no longer does anything for the creator, and LinkedIn similarly rewards comments and reshares over anything that sends people away.
- 02
Write posts that stand on their own inside the platform, so a reader gets the whole idea without clicking, and clicking through only adds to it. Natividad calls this zero click content.
- 03
Post something that stands on its own inside the feed instead of a teaser pointing at your site.
- 04
Assume the platform will cut your reach for linking out, and price that into the plan rather than fighting it.
- 05
Run four or five posts that ask nothing for every one post carrying a link, treating reach as capital you build up and then spend.
What it returned
- 30
Examples given: a 30 second podcast clip that makes sense alone, or one discrete idea from a blog post rewritten as a 100 word LinkedIn post or thread
- 1,000
Amanda Natividad went from 1,000 to 10,000 followers in roughly 18 months on Twitter doing this, with no growth hacks and nothing paid, and says the same approach grew her newsletter to 15,000 subscribers while she only occasionally asked people to subscribe.
- 2025
Meta's spring 2025 report states 97.3 percent of US post views on Facebook land on updates with no external link, Amanda Natividad routinely sees about eight times the reach on a LinkedIn post without one, and TikTok blocks links and hides referral data outright.
Amanda Natividad's sequence is several posts of standalone insight, embedded video or image carousels to raise dwell time and engagement, then one post with the newsletter or demo ask.

Three plays a week, for the phase you are in
No roundup of links, no news. Three tactics more than one builder arrived at separately, with the numbers each one returned and the disagreements left in.
