a single source, nothing corroborates it
Test the idea as a thread before investing in it
Publishing a thread across several subjects costs an afternoon and tells you which single idea has an audience waiting. Expanding only the one that moved into a longer piece keeps the expensive work pointed at something already proven, and evergreen subjects can be reposted indefinitely.
The method
- 01
Test ideas cheaply on Twitter first, then take whichever one landed and expand only that into a long newsletter piece.
- 02
Regularly post long collected threads on subjects that never go stale, such as cognitive biases, procrastination, growth and logical fallacies.
What it returned
He writes threads spanning several topics, watches which individual tweet gets traction, and turns the strongest threads into newsletter deep dives.

Three plays a week, for the phase you are in
No roundup of links, no news. Three tactics more than one builder arrived at separately, with the numbers each one returned and the disagreements left in.
